Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel

Sleeping Giants

Written as multiple documents including interviews, personal journal entries, and official government transcripts, Sleeping Giants is a unique novel that will hook you from the very beginning.

I bought this book sooo long ago because there was a Nook deal for it and I had heard so many great things about it. I should’ve listened to all those glowing reviews for the book earlier because this was such a great read. This is already becoming one of my favorite books of the year.

The story follows a group of characters involved in discovering the secrets of a giant hand that belongs to a giant robot. They have no idea where the artifact came from but what they do know is that there is no human technology that could have built it. A team is assembled to uncover the truth behind the mysterious object and lives are changed when its secrets are revealed.

Cryptic enough for you? This book is for anyone who loves science fiction novel, but it is also great for those who love mysteries that involve government secrecy. If you’ve been putting this series off, I definitely recommend adding it to the top of your to-be-read pile! You won’t be disappointed!

And look out for the second book in the series, Waking Gods, which will be released April 4, 2017!

Happy Reading!
